It works with educational and organizational leaders to develop sustainable human relations, particularly as it relates to inclusive and equitable learning communities. She has 17 years of experience as an educator, anti-bias trainer, and qualitative researcher studying the impacts of educational policies and practices on students. Dr. Christian holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English literature, a Master’s degree in education, and a doctorate in educational leadership and policy. She has trained hundreds of educators throughout Germany and the US on implicit bias. She is the author of Understanding the Black Flame and Multigenerational Education Trauma: Toward a Theory of the Dehumanization of Black Students.
